Capital Pediatric Group has been serving the Austin Community since 1961. Dr. Maurice Cohn came to Austin in December of 1961, and he began this practice in a little house on 15th Street. Soon after, Dr. Milton Talbot joined the practice.

By 1979, Dr. Thomas Hughes and Dr. Allan Frank had joined the Group. These four Doctors then formed the partnership known as Capital Pediatric Group and moved the practice to its current location at 1100 West 39 ½ Street.

Over the course of the next 20 years, Dr. Jayashree Mani, Dr. Sandra Treybig, Dr. Helen Ma, Dr. Ari Brown, and Dr. Elise Kibler joined Capital Pediatric Group.

All of our physicians are Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Cohn and Dr. Talbot founded this group on the highest standards in medical care. They believed that it was important for the physician to be available to the patient. The current physicians have continued this tradition by making a physician available to the patient seven days a week.

The staff of Capital Pediatric Group is proud of the heritage of the practice, and they are proud to carry on the traditions established by Dr. Cohn and Dr. Talbot.
