 Appointment Requests
Online Requests
Requests for Well Child or Consultation Visits may be made through email. Please do not e-mail requests for sick visits, as it can take several days to reply. E-mail dorothyo@capitalpediatrics.com with the patient's name and date of birth, the date and time requested, and the reason for your visit. In order for your appointment to be valid, we must contact you to confirm. Please tell us in your email if you wish to be contacted by email or phone, and include phone number if latter is preferred.

Phone Calls
Please call our Central Office at 512-454-4545 or our North Office at 512-250-0220 to make an appointment
by phone.
During regular office hours, routine medical questions are handled by
our experienced nursing staff. At our Central Office, Joyce Jordan,
L.V.N. and Karen Dubec, M.A. staff our phone triage. Ms. Jordan has
been with Capital Pediatric Group for 36 years and Ms. Dubec has been
with CPG for 19 years. At our North Office, Lola Culwell, M.A. staffs
phone triage. She has been with CPG for 17 years.
Our nurse triage system allows your questions to be addressed quickly. If you would like to speak directly to your doctor, we are happy
to return your call by the end of the business day.
When calling our nursing staff, please have the following ready:
- a phone number where you can be reached if we need to call you back
- a pharmacy number
- your child's temperature
Phone calls regarding routine prescription
refills should be made during office hours.

After Hours Calls
One of our doctors is on call 24 hours a day if you have an emergency.
If you need to speak with a nurse after hours, call the central office
at 454-4545. If the office is closed (after 10pm or certain
holidays), your call will be directed to a nurse triage system where
you can speak with a registered nurse. If neccessary, the nurse will
page the on-call doctor.
There is a $12 fee for phone calls made between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:30am.
Please view our Triage Information page for more information about when and how to call your doctor.
