Katie Jackson, CPNP (Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) was born and raised in Austin, TX. She attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and Austin High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech, and her Master of Science in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech. Katie is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). She is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and is very active in her local chapter.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioners offer a variety of services including health maintenance care for infants, children, and adolescents including well child examinations; routine developmental screenings; diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses; guidance regarding common child health concerns; childhood immunizations; and school physicals. Working with pediatricians and other health care providers, PNPs been enhancing the health care of children for over forty years. Katie is fluent in Spanish and is accepting new patients for both well and sick visits. |
