Thomas Hughes, M.D., F.A.A.P.Dr. Hughes has been in practice at
Capital Pediatric Group for over 30 years. He received his Undergraduate Degree at Colgate University, and his
Medical Degree at the University of Pittsburgh. His Pediatric Residency was completed at the
University of Southern California School of Medicine. After a brief tour in the United States Air Force in
Southeast Asia, he began private practice at Capital Pediatric Group in 1973. He has also worked as a
geneticist and a hospitalist. He has won the Community Pediatric Faculty Member of the Year Award voted
on by the pediatric residents at Children's Hospital of Austin three times. He has a special interest in teaching Pediatric Residents. He lives in Austin with his wife Dory, son Tommy, and their two Scotties, Harry and Katie. He has two grandchildren; Zach age three and Eli aged 18 months living nearby.

Allan Frank, M.D., F.A.A.P.Dr. Frank has been with Capital Pediatric
Group for 25 years. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and then completed his Medical Degree at the
University of Texas at San Antonio. He later participated in a Pediatric Residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital
and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Frank also completed a Pulmonary Fellowship at Baylor. His practice
includes both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Lung Disorders. He is a codirector of the Austin Cystic
Fibrosis Clinic. With his wife, Jolene, they have a daughter Natalie
and a son David. Additionally their household includes a cat with eczema, a one eyed dog, and a fish.
Dr. Frank is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Elise Kibler, M.D., F.A.A.P.Dr. Kibler received her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College where
she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She attended medical
school at Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency at
Texas Children's Hospital/ Baylor Affiliated Hospitals Program in
Houston.
Her hobbies include volunteering overseas, running, and swimming. Dr.
Kibler spent one year in Ecuador volunteering with World Teach. She
has also volunteered at public clinics in Guatemala, Ecuador, and
Botswana. She is fluent in Spanish. She ran cross-country in college
and has also run the Houston and Boston Marathons.
Elise lives with her husband Darwin, their two children Lila and Tony,
and their two cats.

Jayashree Mani, M.D. F.A.A.P.Dr Mani has been with
Capital Pediatric Group since 1989. She received her Medical Degree from Madras Medical School.
She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Pediatrics from the Institute of Child Health at Madras.
She practiced Pediatrics for two years in India before her Pediatric Residency at Children's Hospital
of Austin. Dr. Mani is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Her experiences abroad have given her
the unique opportunity, awareness and knowledge to handle a variety of illnesses. Her travel
experiences help her understand the cultures in different parts of the world. She has particular
interest in behavior, sleep and eating disorders. She also advises on travel.
She lives in
Austin with her husband Kalvi, her two children Shrinidi and Nithya, and their Shitzu, Tiger.

Sandra Treybig, M.D. F.A.A.P.Dr. Treybig joined Capital
Pediatric Group in 1995. She completed her Undergraduate Degree at Texas A & M University, and
later received her Medical Degree from the University of Texas at Houston. Her
Pediatric Residency was completed at the University of Texas at Houston in 1995. Dr. Treybig is
Board Certified in Pediatrics. Her hobbies include reading, traveling with her wonderful husband Mike,
and exercising. However, most of her spare time is spent trying to keep up with her toddler Sadie.

Helen Ma, D.O., F.A.A.P.Dr. Ma has been with
Capital Pediatric Group since 1998. She received her Undergraduate Degree from the University of
Mississippi, and her Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from the University of Osteopathic
Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. Her Pediatric Residency was completed at Children's Hospital of Austin. Dr. Ma
is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Ari Brown, M.D., F.A.A.P.Ari Brown, M.D., FAAP, is a pediatrician, book author, child health advocate, and a mom.
Dr. Brown completed a bachelor’s degree in child development from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her general pediatric residency at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Brown is Board Certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She works full-time in private practice.
Dr. Brown’s passion to educate families about children’s health led her to co-author the books, Baby 411: Clear Answers and Smart Advice for Your Baby’s First Year (3rd Ed, Windsor Peak, 2008) and Toddler 411 (Windsor Peak, 2006).
She has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, CNN, Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, and ABC News. She serves on the advisory board for Parents Magazine and hosts a message board at their website, Parents.com. She is a spokeswoman for the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Texas Medical Association.
